F&B Manager

In this position, you will be responsible for leading and organising all F&B outlets within Hotel de Werelt.

Role description

As F&B manager, you will be responsible for all F&B outlets (bar, bistro, banqueting restaurant) and work closely with the Banqueting manager to make all events a success. You coördinate a team of about 15 employees and you are in direct contact with the Head Chef. You plan staff deployment, place orders and manage stock, account for costs. You actively think about the offer during breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition, at times you fulfil the role of Duty manager where you are the first point of contact for both guests and staff.

As F&B Operations Manager, you understand that you and your staff make the difference in our industry. You will be responsible for the F&B outlets and coördinate 21 meeting rooms together with the Banqueting manager. To ensure that our guests can enjoy a carefree breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink in our bar, you and your team coördine all operational activities. You are good at getting employees moving and ensure a good working atmosphere and motivated staff.

You!

We are looking for a real team player who has coaching as his/her main goal, someone with the human touch and your own identity! You are communicatively very strong and have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages. You are well organised and have no objection to working alternating shifts.

  • You have experience in a similar position
  • You have a proactive attitude
  • You are presentable
  • You are guest- and service-oriented; wanting to provide optimal service is in your 
  • You are stress-resistant
  • Minimum MBO working and thinking level, preferably a completed tourism education
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language in word 
  • Having a certificate in Social Hygiene and possibly a Leermeester
  • Available for 38-40 hours per week
  • A flexible work schedule
